Fit feedback from Jamie:  She is an 8.5-9 US and tried the 39 and 40. And you know.. they both fit lovely. I ended up taking the 39, because the leather is so so soft, it basically just immediately gives and it will stretch a little. The 39 was like a glove. The 40 had a little ease. If I was wide, maybe I would go with the 40, but the glove like fit of the 39 felt perfect. If you want to wear them pushed down on the heel, sometimes you size up in an open back, that might be your preference. I don't like the feeling of the heel hanging off.. but I didn't have it in this. If you like it glove like, go true to size. If you want a little ease, size up. If you are a half size, size up. This leather will stretch a little with wear, maybe 1/2 size.
